The machine, plus a flat fee per service.

You choose a machine for each project and pay its monthly price. Every service on it has a flat monthly fee, as low as $2. Both are billed by the second from prepaid credits.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about pricing.
How does billing work?
You add credits from $5, and Appentic takes what your projects cost every five minutes, down to the second. A machine is billed from the moment it starts until you delete it. A service is billed while it exists.
Is there a free tier?
No. You add credits before choosing your first machine. The smallest machine with a web app and a database costs about 55 cents a day.
What happens when my credits run low?
We email you three days and again one day before your projects would be suspended. When your balance only covers 20 more hours of running costs, your projects are suspended and visitors see a maintenance page. Add credits within those 20 hours and everything starts again. After that the projects are deleted.
Does a stopped project cost anything?
Yes. A stopped machine still holds your data, so it is billed at its normal price. Delete the project to stop paying for it.
Are databases backed up?
Yes. Every database is backed up continuously and in full once a day, outside the machine, and kept for 7 days. You can restore to a new database at any point in that window.
Which languages can I deploy?
Anything with a Dockerfile. Without one, Appentic detects Python, Node, Bun, Go, Ruby and Rust and writes the Dockerfile for you. You can change the build and start commands in the service settings.
Do Feather apps get anything extra?
Appentic is built on Feather, and recognises a Feather app from its repository. One step creates and connects its Postgres database, Redis store and background worker, generates SECRET_KEY, and runs migrations before each new version takes traffic. The services it creates are billed like any others.
